Are you thinking in the best way possible to get the results you want?
Do you ever wonder why you struggle to achieve some of your goals?
Is your mindset and belief system sabotaging your success?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then read on.
You see…we have these things called paradigms.
Paradigms affect the way you think…the actions you take…and the results you get.
Paradigms control just about everything in your life.
You can have limiting paradigms and empowering paradigms.
These paradigms operate under the surface of your conscious mind…in your subconscious…where they camp out rent-free…and most of the time you aren’t even aware of them.
Here’s the problem…
Your subconscious mind can’t tell the difference between a limiting paradigm and an empowering paradigm.
The subconscious mind just follows whatever marching orders your paradigm feeds it…whether positive or negative.
If you constantly tell yourself, “I’ll never be successful in business,” your subconscious mind will work to make sure that limiting paradigm happens.
Wouldn’t you rather say to your subconscious mind, “I have the talent to succeed,” and let that empowering paradigm shape your actions to success?
What’s a paradigm?
A paradigm is a mental program…a mindset…an assumption…a belief system…a way of thinking about yourself, others, or circumstances.
Limiting paradigms, thoughts, or beliefs hold you back from having the success you desire.
Empowering paradigms, thoughts, or beliefs move you forward in the direction of your goals and dreams.
Paradigms affect every area of your life.
You want to make sure you think about yourself and your future in ways that help you succeed…rather than keep you from what you want.
Examples of limiting paradigms…thoughts…beliefs:
I don’t have enough time.
I’ll never be rich.
I don’t have what it takes to succeed.
I’m not smart enough.
Examples of empowering paradigms…thoughts…beliefs:
I have all the time I need to do what I need to do.
Everything I touch turns to gold!
I am having a breakout year!
People respect my opinions, advice, and expertise.
Paradigm -> Actions -> Results
So here’s the thing…
If you’re not getting the results you want…based on the actions you take…it’s time to go back and look at your paradigm, your beliefs, the way you think…and make a paradigm shift.
Norman Vincent Peale says:
Change your thoughts and you change your world!
Ready to make a paradigm shift?
In this video, I walk you through the same 4-step process I use with my private clients to help them shift their internal focus from a limiting paradigm into an empowering paradigm for personal success.
4Steps to Transform a Limiting Paradigm into an Empowering Paradigm
Step 1: Identify what you’re doing that holds you back (limiting actions).
Step 2: Describe what you say to yourself to explain your limiting actions (excuses, reasons, limiting beliefs).
Step 3: Select the limiting belief that has the strongest influence on you.
Step 4: Shift that limiting belief into a positive and affirming internal focus to help you produce the results you want (new empowering paradigm).
How to make your new empowering paradigm come to life!
Now that you’ve created your new empowering paradigm, you want to make sure it becomes a solid positive internal focus for you by embedding it into your subconscious mind.
First of all…speak it out loud as if it’s already a fact. You want to combine it with a couple of other statements you know to be true for yourself.
Here’s what I might say:
- My name is Jeanne Sharbuno. (ownership)
- I LOVE to ballroom dance. (emotional and enjoyable)
- I am having a breakthrough year! (new paradigm)
Keep your new paradigm front and center where you can see it each day.
Every day for 21 days, repeat your new empowering paradigm or handwrite it to embed it into your subconscious mind.
Consistent repetition reprograms your mental environment, makes it a habit, and puts it on auto-pilot.
Do this and you’ll discover that things will start to shift for you.
What’s one of the most powerful tools for personal success?
The Paradigm Shift
Remember…you can do this…you do have what you need to succeed…take a look at those paradigms…make a shift…operate from an empowering paradigm…and achieve the results you want!
